List Verification

Our list verification tool allows you to upload CSV or Excel files containing email addresses for batch verification. This is ideal for cleaning existing contact lists or verifying new lead data.

How to Verify a List

Step 1: Prepare Your File

  • Create a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file with your email addresses
  • Ensure your file has a header row with at least one column containing email addresses
  • Each row should represent one email address

Step 2: Upload Your File

  1. Log in to your Fuego account at app.fuegoverify.com
  2. Navigate to the “List Verification” section
  3. Click “Upload New List”
  4. Select your prepared file
  5. Choose the column that contains email addresses
  6. Click “Start Verification”

Step 3: Review Results

Once verification is complete, you’ll receive:

  • A summary of your verification results
  • A downloadable report with detailed results for each email
  • Domain intelligence for each verified email

Understanding Your Report

The verification report includes:

  • Email: The original email address
  • Result: Valid, Invalid, Risky, or Unknown
  • Reason: Specific reason for the result (e.g., mailbox_not_found, low_deliverability)
  • Domain Insight: Information about the organization that owns the email domain

Best Practices

  • Only verify opt-in email lists you have permission to use
  • Segment your audience based on verification results
  • Use domain intelligence to prioritize high-value contacts
  • Remove invalid emails from your marketing campaigns
  • Consider re-verifying your list every 3-6 months
